Larrivée J-09M 12 String

Larrivée J-09M Twelve String: Spruce top, Flamed Maple back and sides. Mahogany neck, Ebony bridge and fingerboard. All solid woods. (Like every Larrivée guitar.) 17” lower bout.

This was a special order. When I ordered it Larrivée was making an 09 Series Jumbo twelve string but it had rosewood back and sides. I ordered the guitar with Flamed Maple back and sides, at an additional cost of $400.00 list. I prefer the sound of Maple back and sides on 12 string guitars. Maple gives the guitar a really gutsy sound. Most jumbo guitars suffer from a weak treble. Not so with Larrivée; the treble is strong and the sound balanced.

Comes with the arch lid Larrivée hard shell case, black lining.
