Martin OM-45 Roy Rogers (2006) |

|
This is No. 79 of a Limited Edition of 84 guitars, as indicated on the special paper Label. The guitar honors Roy Rogers and the prewar OM-45 Deluxe that he owned. The OM-45 Deluxe was the fanciest pre war guitar Martin made. This reissue has the finest available Adirondack spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. The headstock has the “torch” inlaid in abalone, like the original. The fingerboard has the style 45 snowflake inlay pattern in abalone, just like the original. The polished and beveled pick guard is elaborately inlaid in abalone. The ends of the bridge are also inlaid with abalone. As with all grade 45 guitars the edges on the top, sides and back are inlaid with abalone trimmed with colorful strips. The sound of the guitar is the warmest, sweetest, most balanced and lovely of any new Martin I have ever played. The suggested retail price for this guitar in 2006 was $15,000. My price is $9,600. which includes the Geib style hard shell case and FedEx Ground shipping to anywhere in the US except Alaska and Hawaii. $9600.00
