Tacoma DR-12(E) (2000)

Dreadnought. Excellent condition. Nut: 1 ¾+”. Scale: ~25.5”. All solid woods: Spruce top. Rosewood back and sides. Rosewood fingerboard with abalone dots. Rosewood bridge with compensated saddle and bridge pins inlaid with abalone dots. Made in Tacoma, Washington.

Ivoroid bindings on body and fingerboard. The rosette comprised of a combination of an abalone ring and multicolored wood rings. Abalone dots in the fingerboard. The Tacoma logo is inlaid in Ivoroid in the headstock. The previous owner had the Taylor ® pickguard installed. As it is on top of the finish it can be rather easily removed and a different pick guard installed.

All satin finish. As shown in the photos there are a few small areas where the finish has lifted: Where heel of neck joins the body and, on sides at upper edge. This is a common occurrence with Tacoma guitars. It is my understanding that it was caused by incompatibility between the sealer and finish. It is purely cosmetic and has no effect on the structural integrity of the guitar or the sound.

The guitar has a Fishman Acoustic Matrix Pick up, which has a preamp in the special elongated end pin-jack combo. Powered by an on board 9 volt battery. I believe this was a factory installation It was very professionally done.

Original hard shell case. Price: $649.

Was $649.00,
Now reduced to $549.00!
