Washburn Parlor Guitar (circa 1900)

 
 

Good condition. . Spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge. Ladder bracing on top. All original except bridge plate replaced by MacBlane Stringed Instruments. Several repaired back cracks and edge of top on bass side has been repaired. 1 7/8” nut. Scale: ~24 9/16. Lower bout: 13 1/8”. Upper bout 9 ½”. Body depth: 3” to 4 1/8”. Conforms to dimensions and materials for Model 201 in catologue. Back center strip is stamped with “George Washburn” logo and “New Model.”

I have it strung with silk and steel strings and its quite playable on the lower frets. A wonderful, sweet and clear sounding guitar.
